Triumph, Spitfire, GT6, Le Mans - Top quality cars built to your specificationsPanelcraft have worked on Triumphs since 1975 specialising in restoration and refurbishment. We decided to build the Triumph Spitfire Le Mans body, due to its famous racing history. and decided to build it in GRP, a very strong and lightweight material, to further enhance the performance of the whole car. The Le Mans car was a much more stylish looking car than the GT6, if only Triumph had made the Le Mans as a production car instead! Our contribution to the cars appearance has been to de-seam the body which we feel gives the final touch.
Built to Order
Each car can be built to order, if required, to accommodate your individual requirements. For the enthusiast, that wishes to self build, a kit can be purchased (the bodyshell price list being the basic kit for someone wanting to refurbish a GT6 or Spitfire)
Should you require Optional Extras Panelcraft supply body shells and other details to compliment the Le Mans style GT6
The car when complete can be used on a daily basis or for track work and will always be a motoring pleasure.
The GT6R option
If you are looking for a larger engine, Panelcraft have developed a second bonnet with a bulge added to accommodate the Triumph 6 cylinder engine. This was something that Triumph themselves were developing from the existing Spitfire Le Mans in 1965 to create the GT6R, but Triumph decided to scrap this idea and the GT6R was never raced in the 1966 Le Mans. It was due to the great interest of this unseen project by Triumph that Panelcraft have decided to build their own interpretation of the GT6R.
